So for the past few days I’ve had the opportunity to spend some time with James Hodgins and Rob Provencher from NoBS Photo Success, who taught an amazing one day workshop for the UT Photography program today.

If you missed the workshop, you missed a great one, but you can still check out the forum, which I have been a part of for several years. Rob spoke quite a bit about marketing, baby and family photography, studio lighting, and several other things. James took over at lunch with some info on websites, 5 “essential poses”, and his ultra cool off camera flash techniques.

As much as these guys travel together, I always assumed they got along quite well. Apparently that’s not quite the case, as Rob has to “keep James in line” from time to time…. Tom Geisler and I tried to stop the carnage but to no avail… At least James is smart enough to document the abuse!
