Oh yeah, Julie Poole has done her usual great work updating the Images By Design Group Blog, so take a look!

I think everything’s about ready to load up and head to Benton, KY to cover the 2009 Marshall County Hoopfest for CBS MaxPreps. I’ve been very busy getting everything gathered, ready, and organized and hopefully we’re ready for about anything. Big thanks to Jamie Dahl for letting me crash the basketball tournament in Oliver Springs  he was covering, I was able to nail down some lighting issues there. Jamie published 5  games with MaxPreps, you can see them here. More big thanks to Russ Bryson who provided me with some great backup equipment (we Nikon shooters are a close bunch), I’ll sleep much easier knowing I’m covered if anything goes wrong.

So I’m leaving out early Friday morning, shooting 5 games Friday,  7 on Saturday, and back home on Sunday. The Tournament actually starts tomorrow at 5:00 PM CST, See Ya!!!

The group is comprised of three other photographers…Wade Payne, Lisa Norman-Hudson, and Julie Poole. These three are high on my list of favorite photographers and their list of accomplishments and awards is way too long to get into here. We feel that it’s a great “fit” for everyone involved and I am excited about what the future holds. So what does all this mean for Randy Sartin Photography?

First and foremost, we are no longer shooting in my garage! The Studio is first rate and I can’t wait to get started, it sure will be a lot more comfortable this winter. Plus we have unlimited options on lighting, backgrounds, etc. There will be a few other minor changes, but for the most part we just have a new home :)

We will be having a little get together at the studio before long, plus we are going to run some specials for the fans of Randy Sartin Photography on Facebook. What, you’re not a fan? You better get over to our Facebook Page and get signed up!
