Category Archives: Military Saturday night we had what turned into one of the coolest “corporate” type event/parties I have photographed this year in the Knoxville area, the A Battery RFS 278th ACR Christmas Party, which was held at the Armed Forces Club at the Airbase in Alcoa. Super great group, lots of energy and just a real good…  Some of you all may have caught my last blog post about the Stand Alone Marine bag project at Parris Island (and if not, go check it out!), and as you may have figured out I was looking for a way to help them out with shipping the extra goodies to our deployed troops. So…  Last week we got to go pick our Marine up at Parris Island We had a blast, tickled to death to get Phillip, proud as you know what! The Corps does an excellent job with the entire graduation process, and The Island sure is an interesting place. Laura had connected with some other family members…  Last night I had the awesome opportunity to cover the arrival of three soldiers coming back from the Middle East. There was a great turn out and I was proud that the community turned out so well to show their supports of the troops.
