Every now and then something really good “happens” to you, sometimes it’s luck, sometimes it’s a result of hard work, and usually it involves someone giving you a chance. Yesterday it was a combination of all of the above which resulted in my first assignment for the European Pressphoto Agency , which was to cover the Sarah Palin e-mail hacking trial verdict.
Wade Payne and Lisa Norman-Hudson (this link includes Lisa’s and my EPA images) have been covering this since the start for both the AP and the EPA, so when asked if I was available to cover it I was more than a little bit excited
. It was a lot of “hurry up and wait”, but once the verdict was announced and David Kernell exited the courthouse it was over in 60 seconds. Well, we also covered the attorney’s speaking to the media, but it all happened very fast! Oh yeah, Lisa also has images here
